This just happened.

Someone in the newsroom starts talking about how the glass hosue from Ferris Bueller is for sale, but they are having difficulty selling it because of the price. Immediately, I turn to dad. The following text message conversation ensues:

Me: The home from Ferris Bueller is for sale in Chicago!!!!! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dad: The glass one that Cameron's dad kept the car?
Me: Yes!!!! And it's not selling (apparently they're asking too much). So you have to buy it. I'll give up my wedding fund and the rest of Kyle's college fund.
Dad: I think we can take Sara's too.


Megan, you're lucky you already had your wedding...

Dad may have been right...

IHOP is offering an all you can eat pancake deal for $5.

Today I challenged the 30-year-old to a pancake eating contest. Loser pays.

Don't know when it's going to happen, but I'll keep you posted.

Dad may have been right. Between my always competitive nature and his champion eating reputation, this could be a very bad match.

Wish me luck. I think I have a shot.

Where did the cabinets go??

I will keep posting pictures as progress is made! Anyone want to bet on when this project will be done? I'm hoping at least by 2012 :)
